The ICP 2021 is organized by the Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems research group, pertaining to the Aragón Engineering Research Institute of the Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain, in collaboration with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain.
GITSE: Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems group
The Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems group (GITSE) is one of the institute’s research groups that has been recognized as a “Consolidated Research Group” and a “Reference Research Group” by the Government of Aragon. His academic activity takes place at the School of Engineering and Architecture (EINA) of the University of Zaragoza, imparting all the knowledge related to the field of thermal engineering, such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, air conditioning systems, renewable energies, motors. thermal, turbomachinery, power plants, energy optimization and combustion. Its members carry out basic and applied research in the areas related to the analysis, simulation and design of thermal devices and energy systems through the use of numerical and experimental methods.
GITSE is involved in the promotion of collaborations and coordinated projects with other research groups, departments and universities in Europe and America, participates in national, European and international networks and collaborates in several TASK and ANNEX of the International Energy Agency
